Wally Sauthoff
Partner/Managing Director
Career Summary
Wally Sauthoff joined NAI Pfefferle in 2024 as a Partner/Managing Director. He previously was the managing director for NAI Greywolf Commercial Brokerage. Wally specializes in office and retail properties throughout the Milwaukee area. He enjoys the opportunities he gets to collaborate with high quality individuals and provide creative, effective solutions, tailored to the needs of the companies he works with and generating proven value and driven results.
Wally has over 30 years of experience in the industry working at various companies throughout the years. Early in his career, Wally focused on property management. First he managed a corporate REO portfolio of 32 commercial properties. Then he founded another company where they managed and leased over 2,000,000 square feet of commercial space in 26 commercial properties in addition to 450+ apartment units.
As he continued in his career, Wally shifted his focus to be the Wisconsin Area Developer for Sport Clips Haircuts for Men. In this role he developed the state of Wisconsin, by recruiting and securing new franchise owners, as well as conducted site search, analysis and store planning for new locations. He was involved in lease negotiations and also construction oversight.
Immediately prior to joining Greywolf, Wally was a partner for another local commercial real estate company and was managing director for their commercial brokerage division.
Wally’s favorite quote is from Thomas Edison: “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”
Outside of work, Wally enjoys water sports with his wife and two adult children. He also enjoys taking jet ski trips with his friends.

Career Summary
Hans Zietlow brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience to NAI Pfefferle, with a proven track record in brokerage, development, and strategic growth planning. After spending his early years in Alaska, Hans returned to Wisconsin in the late 1990s to help expand his family’s business. As Director of Real Estate for two decades, he spearheaded a comprehensive growth strategy—acquiring and entitling over 600 new convenience store sites and purchasing more than 100 existing properties. He also oversaw the development of Northwest Investments, guiding large-scale land developments, subdivisions, and commercial centers across several hundred acres.
In addition to his brokerage career, Hans has served for the past decade as a director and executive board chair of Home Federal Savings Bank (now part of Alerus Bank), where his expertise in industrial and investment real estate proved invaluable in evaluating complex financial and property dynamics.
With extensive experience in commercial, industrial, retail, subdivisions, and entitlement work, Hans has successfully completed projects throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Though he once considered early retirement, his passion for real estate continues to drive him. Now, as part of NAI Pfefferle’s statewide team, Hans looks forward to leveraging his knowledge, connections, and enthusiasm to deliver value to clients and contribute to the firm’s success.

Career Summary
Thomas Gale brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience to NAI Pfefferle. With a focus on industrial and office properties, he has had vast experience and success in the leasing and sale of commercial buildings. Tom has put a primary emphasis on the downtown Milwaukee office market, with a track record of sales that were converted to condos in the Third Ward, Walker’s Point as well as the Central Business District. In addition to that work, he has represented tenants and buyers in confidential property acquisitions. In the last ten years, Tom closed approximately 1.75 million square feet in transactions of properties sold or leased.
Prior to joining NAI Pfefferle, Tom worked for another NAI affiliate as well as other Milwaukee-based real estate firms, both a local firm with global ties, as well as a locally owned and operated commercial real estate firm. The power of the NAI Global network is one of the reasons he’s joined the growing NAI Pfefferle team, as the depth of tools and resources available to advisors is expansive.
A sample of some of the clients that Tom has represented throughout his career include Charter Wire, Allen Edmonds, United Artists, Towne Realty, The Marcus Corporation, Milwaukee Magazine, Stone Creek Coffee, Summerfest, the Milwaukee YMCA, Wangard Partners, Shopko and various downtown property owners.

His interest in commercial real estate began with the re-development and new construction of multiple properties used for his family’s growing veterinary practice. Following the sale of his family’s business, David remains personally invested in commercial income generating properties. He found his passion in advising both corporate and private clients regarding the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial real estate.

Tom’s career in commercial real estate began after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from DePauw University.
